All throughout her childhood, she was often counseled in adult matters, especially in the interpretations of dreams. At 12, she had a dream about her father's death 3 days before he died She had told her teacher at school who consolled her saying it was a silly dream to forget. But it was profound because she could remember the dream so vividly and she knew she got the dream first so she would understand because of the dream what was happening. In the dream he pointed to her and she understood that he was passing the ball to her. She understood that he was watching her life now and much more involved in her life and she saw signs all the time of it. The synchronicities made her feel even more connected to her Father - so she chose to make it a positive motivation for her. She began to connect more than ever to her Father on the other side and this began to totally transform her. At 13 became vegetarian, and started studying all she could of the many hidden mysteries: Tarot, Astrology, & all about Nutrition & Holistic Healing - she wanted to be a healthy vegetarian - she had to be healthy so she could dance. She had been writing poetry since about 9 yet at that point her poetry quantum leaped... & then songs came - expessing her feelings through them felt good and healed her to know what every happened could be inspiration for a song. And she found that her dream of music filled her heart with joy and that joy healed everything. At 16 she found Yoga when she went to college her senior year to study music therory, voice, & play sax in the Jazz Band. In her yoga class she connected with the healthy realtionship to the body that she had known in dance going so much deeper. She understood that being healthy allowed herto be creative and this dream of music healed her both physically, mentally, & spiritually. She found Self Hypnosis & Meditation, and started going to Living Love Workshops (Handbook to Higher Consciousness) with many of the friends she met in Yoga class at the college where she sang her songs at the Lunch Concerts & was part of the first Earth Day Celebrations. This choice to find a place she fit instead of just staying stiffled in high school - or any situations that did not feel was good for her. She loves to learn and follows her curiousity & this has shaped her life. She follows her bliss and loves to inspire others to do the same. Then she found a group of advanced Essense healers who were starting a healing school in the Mountains. She became the youngest investor with the money that she had inherited from her Father and she learned so much from them. Information that saved her own life and that she has been blessed to offer to others along the path.

IS BASED AROUND....

PARENTHOOD: AS A PATH TO HEALING    Aliah & her life partner Paz took their spirit / Hebrew names while they were blissfully pregnant with their son after 10 years of marriage - it was a miracle!. During their pregnancy she studied Reiki up to master in 3 styles: Tibetan, Karuna, and Original. She says it was... "to attune to the blessed soul's energy that was coming & the sacred role of Motherhood". Paz & Aliah were blessed with only a 4 hour labor for their homebirth - 3 of the 4 hours of which was in a warm inflatable pool - on a full moon - that helped a lot as well. In preparing their home for the baby... Aliah took an in-depth class on Feng Shui and found she only had to change a few things. She naturally understood Fung Shui because she had alters and inspriational things everywhere. And along with her own Yogadance Flow (she's a yoga teacher with a 30 year practice) she learned Belly Dancing that help a lot in labor as her rotations eased the baby out - along with Chiropractic adjustments from TOOLS - a Rainbow Healer who came once a week for adjustments. During her blessed pregnancy, she was able to witness a miracle healing with a client she worked with full time for only 3 weeks - who went into complete remission from ovarian cancer. Aliah, still pregnant, began to write down how it happened and out came the Transparenting Material (Transcendental Parenting) ones self and being there to support & inspire others in a way that 's out of the way and empowers their intuition & own healing abilities. Inspired by the miraculous healing event, Aliah began to write.  In a short time, she had birthed the Transparenting concepts and 4 books that are in the process of becoming becoming downloadable interactive "Sojournals". Transparenting was inspired by watching the old Kung Fu re-runs that she watched daily (taping & watching the whole series before they got pregnant) captivated by how Caine was raised by the monk's in how to be a gentle strength and offering wisdom in this world with everyone each day. She is also continually inspired by her many lessons in telepathy while caring for a mute, wise, magical modern-day dragon - an Iguana who taught us that love is stronger than instincts. Aliah was going to call her first book "Kung Fu & Iguana Therapy" and then all her writings took form as several different books and the one on being healthy being fun & convenient became her book "Foodcool". Foodcool was given to some of today's top musicians when after her son was born and she had to slow her music gigging & TV shows down. She began Feng Shui-ing dressing rooms and offering readings backstage where her son could come along. It was a job that evolved from her being host of a popular Austin based music & activism variety TV show that was spondered by Pace Concerts. Along with the FOODCOOL book about living a Wellness lifestyle, she gave these well known musicians Foodcool Kits filled with superfood based immunity building herbs & supplements that Aliah used herself while she was touring to keep her voice strong & healthy. Later, she passed on the information to her voice students and she's been spreading the word ever since that you can even get in better shape on the road - and end up even healthier than you were before you went on tour - if you seek to be... Foodcool. Now more than ever she has been getting Energetic Medical Intuition insights into the health concerns of her clients and their connection to life transitions and how one can make opportunities out of changes, especially sudden ones. Transistions can offer us opportunities to take our life in a new directions - it is how Spirit speaks to us. As we focus on our healing and heal every aspect of our life as part of that healing. Then, it becomes a blessing in our life as everything can be. Aliah comes from Romanian Jewish gypsy ancestry (a Bat-Cohen) )who passed down a deep felt respect for dreamtime and the symbolic coincidences that continually give insight to our lives. Premonitions we're common in her family, for generations. By about three or so, If she started to have a nightmare, she would skip the book to another chapter, inside another dream.. one that she knew she would like much better. She found that through envisioning a storybook like the ones in Disney films she had seen. She thought everyone could also change their dreams while dreaming. She loves to empower people to do more active dreaming. Later, as she grew, she found she was able to change the dream while it was occurring… not having to go to a different dream - instead changing her dream to continually keep her safe and flying around. Later, this ability helped her to choreograph & rehearse dances in dreams, and other creative projects. This tool has helped her to fine tune her understandings of the power of creative visualization.  As she continued to grow with it, she began to use this ability to "mind shift" into "upgrades" of a more empowering interpretation for anything that happens in life - a skill she offers insights to in her Life Readings. She claims to be a humble student in the art of "Divine Comedy" (insightful kind humor). And feels that laughter - that's based on understanding and appreciating our human-ness - is a gift - and it can help us to lovingly grow into a place where we are at peace and grounded in a lighthearted fun perspective.

Aliah & Paz worked doing Astrological readings for the popular "Starscroll" - it was one of the first of it's kind, and kept a very high integrity level in having an authentic focus for healing with their readings.  In Austin, Texas where they lived for many years with their son Zack, they offered soul growth readings, workshops, taught classes, and spiritual counseling & healing to all they connect with. They created an “AstroReport” section of a popular public Access TV show, on the air for 2 years, as well as doing more in depth interviews on public advocacy shows.  Currently, the couple is putting together several new TV show projects. Their TV show SOTV ("sacred originality") that they produced annually for 4 years is a collection of art and artists who echoes awakenings of the soul. This show was the brain child for a new Live/Reality TV show also currently in pre-production: "Creativity LIves!" that showcases and interviews artists and is about the creative process and artist rights. Paz & Aliah use "Evolutionary Comedy" and focusing on the Transparenting technique of "Disarming the Bully - within & around us" with their new show & film projects incorporating her music, poetry and video art.
